The rules for creating an account and using SingCupid. Please read them — by joining, you agree to them.
Welcome to SingCupid (https://singcupid.com). These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the SingCupid website, apps, and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these terms and by our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use SingCupid. By registering you confirm that you are 18 or older, that you are legally able to enter into this agreement, and that you have not previously been removed from the Service.
2. Your account
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Each person may hold only one account. Notify us immediately at support@singcupid.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Community conduct
SingCupid is built for genuine singles living in Singapore. You agree not to:
- harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, or intimidate other members;
- impersonate any person, misrepresent your age, identity, or location, or create a profile on behalf of someone else;
- solicit money, goods, or services from other members, or use the Service for commercial, promotional, or scam purposes;
- post content that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, hateful, or that infringes another person's rights;
- upload photos of anyone other than yourself, or photos of minors;
- use automated tools, scrapers, or bots, or attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours;
- share another member's private information or conversations outside the Service without their consent.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, text, and other content you post. By posting it you grant SingCupid a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. You confirm you have the right to post everything you upload. We may remove content that breaches these terms at any time.
5. Safety
Meeting people online carries risk. SingCupid does not run criminal-background checks on members and cannot guarantee anyone's identity or intentions. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members, online and in person. Please read our Safety & Guidelines page before meeting anyone, and report suspicious behaviour using the in-app tools or by emailing support@singcupid.com.
6. Free service and changes
SingCupid is currently free to use. We may add, change, or withdraw features at any time. If we ever introduce paid features, their pricing and terms will be made clear before you are charged.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or permanently close accounts that breach these terms, our community guidelines, or applicable law, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your settings page.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SingCupid and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, or from any conduct of other members.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will post the revised terms here and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
